How to track volunteer hours as an activity in DonorDock.


Many organization have volunteers and adding and tracking volunteer hours is easily added and tracked in DonorDock.  You can also run reports on your volunteer hours as well.

To Create a Volunteer Activity from a Contact Record:

  1. From the contact record click on the Add in the top right corner
  2. Choose Add activity
  3. Select Volunteer as the activity type.
  4. Input the activity information to include due date and any other specific details you need including hours, date, campaign, appeal, and any other notes.

To Create a Volunteer Activity from a Report  


1. Click into the Reporting Menu and select Reports.
2. Run a Standard Report or Create a Report.

  • We recommend using the SAVE or SAVE AS button for future use of your report.

3.  Add your Activity to your list.

  • Click Add in the top right corner
  • Choose Add activity
  • Select Volunteer as the activity type.
  • Input the activity information to include due date and any other specific details you need including hours, date, campaign, appeal, and any other notes.

   4.  Click Create and Save.  


You have now successfully tracked volunteer hours to a contact as an activity.  You can now see view, edit, manage, and run an activity report for your volunteer activity,
